If, for whatever reason, a decision is made to turn off email notification after it has been setup, perform the following steps:

  1. Locate the email configuration settings file. The system maintains this file at the following location: 
    C:\ProgramData\Microdesk\BIMrx.CloudManager\Data\EmailConfig.encrypted.
  2. Rename or remove the EmailConfig.encrypted file. For example, rename it to EmailConfig.encrypted.backup


If BIMrx® Cloud Manager is running and currently positioned on the Jobs screen, the next time it refreshes the Email Configuration ‘Not Configured’ icon will appear. The next time a scheduled Job runs, it will not find the EmailConfig file and will not attempt to send an email.

To turn it back on, the file can be renamed back to the original name. Alternatively, a new one can be entered from the Jobs screen.
