Any connection that is not currently connected to may be deleted. All that is necessary is to select it from the list view and click the Delete button. Once the confirmation dialog has been accepted, the record is removed from the system.

Before allowing a Custom Connection to be deleted, however, the system checks to make sure the connection can be deleted.

In this case, since the Custom Connection is currently assigned to a Job it cannot be deleted. Whenever this type of validation fails, the system will clearly state what the problem is and suggest a remedy. In this case, changing the Job definition to include a different connection will suffice. Or, perhaps on the other hand, the user may find this information useful and the system has simply informed them that this supposedly unused connection definition is, if fact, performing a useful purpose.
