With the help of the Tap command, the user is able to click on a duct main, then on a branch. The command will connect the two with a tap, even when not aligned on center. This command will work in 2D and 3D views.


In Revit:

  • In the ribbon, navigate to the NAVIATE tab >> NAVIATE MEP panel >> Tap command:

  • Click on a duct main.
  • Click on a branch. 


The command will connect the branch to the main with the closest connector in branch.
