Implementation of access-level based security
- Creation of new projects.
- Access to hub and project member information and changes.
Add Hub Members
- BIMrx® Cloud Manager now supports adding new members to the hub.
- The only information required is an email address for each new member, along with a default company and role that are easily selected from dropdown lists on the dialog box entry screen.
- Multiple new members can be added at once. The new member email list can even be copied and pasted onto the data entry screen.
Set/Update Hub Members default Company
- When working with Hub Members, BIMrx® Cloud Manager now supports setting the Default Company for the first time or changing it to a different company.
- This can be done for any number of selected Hub Members.
Add project filter to select all Hub Members for a project
- A Project Filter has been added to the filters available for selecting Hub Members. This new filter consists of a dropdown list containing all projects for the current Hub. Selecting a project from this dropdown list filters all Hub Members to include only those belonging to the selected project.
- This new feature makes it easy to select all members for a specific project then assign them to one or more additional projects.
Browse module: enhanced help and workflow for upload of folders and files to BIM 360®
- Initial dialog box now explains what is being done, why, and how the user controls it by selecting from the available options.
- A new confirmation dialog box now appears after the update has been performed, that also provides direct navigation to the Files module.
Files module: enhanced user experience for preparation and upload of folders and files to BIM 360®
- A new button on the Files Local Files / Upload to BIM 360® project display treeview has been added to bring up the MS Windows Files Explorer for the currently selected project.
- Updated tool tip wording on button that initiates the upload process to be more explanatory.

New for v2.9
Files module supports uploading to Project Files and Plans folders.
- Files module now supports uploading of renamed Project Files folders.
- Uploading to the Plans folder—named Plans or renamed to something different—is also now supported by BIMrx® Cloud Manager.
Members module Status/Access assignment and display.
- Account member Status can be activated or deactivated.
- Project Admin Access can be granted or revoked on a per user, per project basis.
- Project Role Viewer displays icons representing defined access level for each assignable role service–Project Admin and Document Management.
- When updating project member with Role they are assigned the highest role access level.
- Project Admin role can only be assigned by BIMrx® Cloud Manager user having either Account Admin rights or Project Admin access for the selected project(s).
Dynamic display of BIM360® project folders, files, and versions.
- Speeds up viewing of BIM360® projects.
- Only the currently selected BIM360® project folder or file details are displayed.
- Is implemented in following modules:
- Files
- Browse
- Does not require waiting for complete project display to download or export to MS Excel from Browse module.
On screen log viewer for Browse module.
- Appears at screen bottom and displays log information in the same way as with other BIMrx® Cloud Manager modules.
Jobs module now features an additional button—Save & Deploy
- Used to Save created or edited jobs and Add them as a scheduled task with just one button click.
[Microdesk Internal Users Only]: Jobs email configuration settings are now filled out automatically for users with activated licenses.
- Settings are saved when Jobs module is accessed, and no email configuration settings file is found.
