An API is an Application Programming Interface. APIs are published by software vendors to provide customers and third-parties access to the data and functionality of their software from their own software, as an alternative or supplemental way to view and update their data. In the case of Naviate Cloud Manager, this is accomplished by using the Autodesk Platform Services (APS)  (i.e., APIs) provided by Autodesk® to interact with BIM 360® data to allow the user to view, add and modify their data via the Naviate Cloud Manager user interface and underlying functionality.
